About the Role
A thriving school is seeking a dedicated individual to join their specialist SEN provision. This vital role involves supporting secondary-aged pupils with complex needs, contributing significantly to their educational journey. You will be instrumental in assisting with adapted curriculum delivery, fostering a supportive learning environment, and actively promoting pupil independence. This opportunity offers a range of contract options, from long-term to permanent, with an immediate start available, providing a daily rate of £90 - £115.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary-aged pupils with diverse and complex special educational needs.
* Assist in the effective delivery of an adapted curriculum, ensuring accessibility for all learners.
* Actively encourage and promote pupil independence in various learning and social contexts.
* Support the main class teacher in managing classroom activities and student behaviour.
* Contribute to the creation of an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience working with children or young people, particularly those with complex special educational needs.
* You exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting individual pupil development.
* You demonstrate an adaptable approach to learning and behaviour management strategies.
* You have strong communication skills, capable of building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* You are proactive, resilient, and committed to fostering an inclusive educational experience.
