About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming team within a dedicated school, beginning in September or sooner on a long-term, permanent contract. You will inspire secondary students with the wonders of science, fostering their curiosity and critical thinking across various disciplines, contributing to their academic success and personal growth in a supportive and collaborative environment. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on young minds, developing future scientists and innovators.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver creative, high-quality Science lessons that engage and challenge secondary students.
• Assess student understanding effectively and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all students feel valued.
• Monitor and track student progress, implementing interventions as necessary to ensure attainment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Science curriculum and share best practices.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, and the wider school community.

About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, alongside a relevant Science-related degree.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for Science and the ability to convey this enthusiasm to young people.
• Have experience teaching Science at secondary level, or be an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to thrive.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Be committed to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practices.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
