An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a thriving school in the vibrant South East as a dedicated Intervention Teacher. This pivotal role involves delivering targeted support across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, ensuring every primary pupil has the chance to reach their full potential. We are seeking a passionate educator ready to make an immediate impact, with flexible contract options ranging from daily supply and short-term assignments to long-term and permanent positions. This rewarding role offers a competitive daily rate of £150 - £180, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver highly effective intervention sessions to small groups and individual pupils across primary year groups.
* Assess pupil progress meticulously, adapting strategies to meet diverse learning needs and accelerate attainment.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers to integrate intervention strategies and ensure consistent support.
* Create engaging and differentiated learning resources that foster confidence and address specific gaps.
* Monitor and record pupil achievements, providing regular feedback to stakeholders.
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all pupils feel valued.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess recent experience within primary education.
* Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering targeted interventions across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff, pupils, and parents.
* Be adept at assessing individual learning needs and tailoring approaches to achieve significant progress.
* Show a genuine passion for supporting all pupils, particularly those requiring additional assistance to thrive.
* Be flexible, adaptable, and proactive in responding to the evolving needs of the school and its pupils.
