About the Role
A dedicated school in South London is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This vital role involves supporting secondary-aged pupils with complex needs within a specialist SEN provision. You will be instrumental in assisting with the delivery of an adapted curriculum and fostering a nurturing environment that promotes independence for every student. We offer a competitive daily rate ranging from £90 to £115, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary-aged pupils with complex special educational needs.
* Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging, adapted learning activities.
* Encourage and empower students to develop their independence and life skills.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil development and achievements.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with complex needs.
* Demonstrate previous experience working within an SEN setting, particularly with secondary pupils.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with students and staff.
* Show a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to daily challenges.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute positively to a school community.
