About the Role
A respected school is actively seeking a dedicated ASD Support Assistant to join their specialist team. This impactful position focuses on empowering secondary students on the autism spectrum within a nurturing environment. You will be instrumental in developing social communication skills, sensitively managing sensory needs, and facilitating comprehensive curriculum access for all learners. This immediate start role offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £90 to £115.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated, tailored support to secondary students with ASD.
* Facilitate effective social communication strategies and interactions.
* Proactively manage sensory needs to create a calm learning environment.
* Support students in accessing and engaging with the curriculum across subjects.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals.
* Assist with the implementation of individualised learning plans.

About You
* Proven experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum is essential.
* A deep understanding of ASD and associated support strategies.
