We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to join a innovative primary school environment. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver highly individualised support based on the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan objectives.
* Cultivate a strong, trusting rapport with the pupil to enhance engagement and communication.
* Collaborate effectively with external therapists and internal staff to ensure a cohesive support strategy.
* Adapt learning activities and resources to meet the unique and complex needs of the pupil.
* Contribute to the ongoing assessment and documentation of the pupil's developmental milestones.
* Ensure a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment that promotes the pupil’s independence.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting children with complex special educational needs, such as ASD, PMLD, or sensory impairments.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for enabling the growth and achievement of every child.
* Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, adept at building relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* Approach challenges with creativity, patience, and a consistently positive mindset.
* Hold relevant qualifications or professional development in special educational needs support (desirable).
* Be a proactive team player, committed to collaborative success within a dynamic school setting
