About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a respected school in Berkshire. This vital role involves overseeing classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning across various subjects at secondary level. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment, implementing pre-set work, and engaging with pupils. This opportunity offers flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise pupils during the short-term absence of their regular teacher.
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons and resources effectively.
* Manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
* Encourage pupils to complete assigned tasks and stay on track with their learning.
* Adhere to all school policies and procedures, particularly regarding safeguarding.
* Provide feedback to relevant teaching staff on pupil progress and any issues encountered.

About You
* Possess prior experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Exhibit strong classroom management abilities to maintain an orderly learning environment.
* Be adaptable and resilient, capable of responding effectively to varying classroom needs.
* Show a proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupil learning.
* Hold a genuine commitment to contributing positively to the school community.
