An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving school in Northamptonshire, starting in September or sooner. This permanent, long-term position offers remuneration paid to scale and welcomes applications from ECTs through to UPS. You will be instrumental in delivering captivating Science lessons across the secondary phase, nurturing a love for discovery and understanding.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to foster academic growth.
* Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported to excel.
* Actively contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative Science curriculum.
* Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
* Collaborate effectively with departmental colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for Science and the ability to convey its excitement to young learners.
* Be adept at inspiring and motivating students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
* Show a proactive commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* Welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), experienced Main Pay Scale (MPS) teachers, and Upper Pay Scale (UPS) teachers.
