About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a forward-thinking school, seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their thriving team. This pivotal role involves overseeing classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and engaged with their learning tasks. We are looking for individuals who can seamlessly step into classrooms to maintain a positive and productive educational environment, with flexible contract options ranging from daily supply and short-term placements to long-term and permanent opportunities. This crucial position offers a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160 and requires an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise whole classes across various subjects in the absence of the assigned teacher.
* Implement pre-set work, providing clear instructions and assistance to students as needed.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, upholding the school's established policies and ethos.
* Foster a respectful and orderly learning atmosphere for all pupils.
* Respond calmly and decisively to any immediate issues or concerns that arise.
* Provide concise feedback to the relevant teaching staff regarding student progress and engagement.

About You
* You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport quickly.
* A proactive and resilient approach to managing diverse classroom dynamics is essential.
* You are highly organised and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic educational setting.
* A genuine passion for supporting the academic and personal development of young people drives you.
* You have prior experience working with children or young adults, ideally within a school environment.
