Key Responsibilities
* Implement structured routines and consistent behavioural strategies tailored to individual needs.
* Provide comprehensive communication support using various methods and tools.
* Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning objectives.
* Facilitate sensory regulation strategies to create a calm and supportive environment.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers and other support staff to develop personalised learning plans.
* Promote independent learning and social skill development among primary-aged pupils.
About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* You have a deep understanding of effective strategies for managing sensory needs and promoting positive behaviour.
* An excellent communicator, you can build rapport quickly with pupils, staff, and parents.
* You are patient, resilient, and bring a proactive approach to supporting complex needs.
* You are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for every child.
* You hold relevant qualifications or professional development in SEN, particularly ASD.
