Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, engaging Biology lessons across the secondary key stages.
* Plan and prepare innovative schemes of work that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Assess pupil progress regularly, providing clear and constructive feedback.
* Contribute enthusiastically to the broader pastoral life and extracurricular offerings of the school.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the science department and across the wider school.
* Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Hold a specialism in Biology, with the capability to teach general Science at various levels.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for inspiring young minds and fostering academic curiosity.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils and staff.
* Committed to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice.
* Applications are warmly welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced professionals (MPS/UPS).
