Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated and proactive Multi-Site Attendance Officer to join a supportive network of schools in the Northampton area. This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary of £24,500, and is available to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
• To monitor and improve school attendance across multiple sites.
• To work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and external agencies to address attendance issues.
• To maintain accurate attendance records and generate reports.
• To implement strategies to boost student attendance and reduce persistent absence.
• To provide guidance and support to families regarding attendance policies and procedures.
About You:
• Previous experience in an attendance or safeguarding role is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• A strong understanding of school attendance legislation and best practices.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
