Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver creative and challenging English lessons across the secondary age range.
• Assess student progress accurately, providing constructive feedback for continuous development.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued.
• Contribute effectively to collaborative planning and resource development within the English department.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management, ensuring a productive and safe learning environment.
• Participate actively in the broader life of the school community, supporting academic and pastoral initiatives.

About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate a profound passion for English and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young people.
• Exhibit a proven ability to deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs effectively.
• Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with students and colleagues.
• Adopt a proactive approach to professional development, seeking opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.
• Capable of inspiring students at various stages, whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT), on the Main Pay Scale (MPS), or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
