Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and accessible lessons across a modified secondary curriculum.
* Implement effective strategies to manage and de-escalate complex behaviours within the classroom.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic growth.
* Develop individualised learning plans that meet the unique social, emotional, and academic needs of each student.
* Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching approaches as necessary.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Possess demonstrable experience working effectively with secondary-aged students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
* Exhibit exceptional behaviour management skills and a compassionate approach to challenging situations.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
* Be a proactive and resilient individual with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
