Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver highly individualised learning experiences for small groups of primary-aged pupils with complex SEN.
* Skillfully adapt the national curriculum, crafting engaging lessons that align with each pupil's EHCP objectives.
* Cultivate a nurturing and stimulating classroom atmosphere conducive to positive behaviour and significant academic growth.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists.
* Establish meaningful partnerships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupil progress and celebrating achievements.
* Continuously assess and monitor pupil development, implementing responsive strategies to support their evolving needs.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a genuine passion for special educational needs education.
* Demonstrate proven experience or a strong commitment to working with primary pupils who have EHCPs.
* Possess an innovative approach to curriculum adaptation and differentiation, ensuring accessibility for all learners.
* Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.
