Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver engaging English lessons across key stages, inspiring a passion for the subject.
• Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress and inform future teaching.
• Contribute actively to departmental planning, resource creation, and curriculum enrichment initiatives.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and encouraged to excel.
• Provide constructive feedback to pupils, guiding them towards achieving their full academic potential.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, enriching the wider school experience.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or a related field.
• Possess a strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching English.
• Be a dedicated professional committed to continuous self-improvement and professional development.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate diverse learners.
• Thrive as a collaborative team member, sharing best practices and supporting colleagues.
• Welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced teachers at MPS or UPS levels.
