Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, inspiring Physics lessons to pupils across the secondary phase.
* Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching materials that meet curriculum requirements.
* Assess, monitor, record, and report on the progress and development of all pupils.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and review of the Science curriculum.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings, whole-school initiatives, and professional development sessions.
About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for your first permanent role.
* Possess a strong academic background with a degree in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline.
* You demonstrate a proven ability to teach Physics effectively to secondary school pupils.
* A comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum for Science and Physics is essential.
* You exhibit excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine commitment to continuous professional development and raising pupil achievement is paramount.
