This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated MFL - French & Spanish Teacher to join a flourishing secondary school in East London on a permanent contract from September 2026. You will inspire students across key stages with your passion for languages, contributing to a vibrant learning environment. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective French and Spanish lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Plan and prepare innovative schemes of work that cater to diverse learning styles.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Foster a positive classroom atmosphere where students feel confident to explore new languages.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the MFL department's offerings and resources.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the wider school community.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Possess a strong academic background in French and Spanish.
* Demonstrate a proven ability to teach MFL effectively at secondary level.
* Show excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student progress.
* Be an enthusiastic and innovative educator, keen to share your linguistic expertise.
* Have experience across a range of teaching levels, from Early Career Teacher (ECT) to Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
