We are seeking an exceptional SEN Class Teacher to join a innovative school in East London. This specialist primary school provides an inclusive and nurturing environment for pupils with diverse learning needs. You will deliver high-quality, adapted education to small groups of pupils, each supported by an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). This rewarding position offers a competitive daily rate of £150 - £250, with opportunities for immediate starts across long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent contracts. Your expertise will be vital in shaping positive educational experiences within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapting the national curriculum to meet individual pupil needs.
* Develop and implement personalised learning strategies for pupils with EHCPs.
* Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and well-being.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff.
* Maintain open and effective communication with families regarding pupil progress and development.
* Regularly assess pupil attainment and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience working with SEN pupils in a primary setting.
* You demonstrate a deep understanding of EHCPs and their practical application in the classroom.
* You are skilled at adapting curriculum content to make learning accessible and engaging for all.
* You are an effective communicator, capable of building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.
* You are dedicated to continuous professional development and possess a resilient, compassionate approach.
