About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated English Teacher to join an exceptional school located in the vibrant Berkshire region of the South East. This long-term, permanent position, commencing in September 2026, involves delivering engaging English lessons across the secondary phase. You will inspire students to develop a deep appreciation for language and literature, contributing to a thriving academic environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver dynamic and well-structured English lessons to secondary students.
* Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the English curriculum.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Possess a strong academic background in English or a related field.
* Demonstrate a passion for teaching and inspiring young minds in literature and language.
* Have experience delivering the secondary English curriculum, whether as an ECT or an experienced teacher.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and contributing to a team.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
