We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a well-established school on a permanent, long-term contract. This exciting opportunity is available for a September start, or sooner for the right candidate, and invites you to contribute to a thriving secondary environment where mathematical excellence is highly valued and every pupil is encouraged to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across key stages, fostering a deep understanding and love for the subject.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver effective schemes of work and individual lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning needs.
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing targeted interventions where necessary.
* Contribute actively to the development and implementation of the Maths curriculum, ensuring its relevance and effectiveness.
* Participate in wider school life, including extracurricular activities and pastoral duties, to support the holistic development of pupils.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Maths department and across the school to share best practice and enhance teaching and learning.
About You
* You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* You possess a genuine passion for Mathematics and inspiring young minds to achieve their best.
* You demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills, adapting your approach to suit different learners.
* You are committed to securing the best possible academic and personal outcomes for every student.
* You show an ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic and supportive team.
* Applications are warmly welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced professionals (MPS/UPS).
