Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct support to pupils, individually or in small groups, to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist the class teacher in preparing engaging classroom resources and maintaining an organised learning environment.
• Support pupils with special educational needs, adapting strategies as required to meet individual learning styles.
• Observe and report on pupil progress, behaviour, and development to the class teacher.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and promote a safe, supportive atmosphere for all children.
• Supervise pupils during break times, ensuring their well-being and engagement in constructive activities.
About You
• Possess a genuine passion for working with primary-aged children and supporting their educational journey.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Show initiative and adaptability, responding effectively to the diverse needs of the classroom.
• Hold a relevant qualification or have proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting.
• Exhibit a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Work effectively as part of a team, contributing positively to the school's collaborative ethos.
