About the Role
We are looking for a committed and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join our supportive team at a primary school in Bedford. This fixed-term planning role focuses on lesson preparation, curriculum development, and assessment planning, working closely with the Year 6 team to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities
🔹 Plan and prepare engaging and effective lessons for Year 6 pupils
🔹 Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and high-quality learning experiences
🔹 Support pupils' academic progress, focusing on KS2 SATs preparation and secondary transition
🔹 Contribute to curriculum planning, ensuring lessons meet the needs of all learners
Requirements
🎓 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
📖 Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly literacy, numeracy, and SATs preparation
🌟 Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
📝 Passion for curriculum planning and maintaining high educational standards
📢 Strong communication skills to engage with colleagues and contribute to school life
🔎 Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and provide two years of references
