Salary: £180 - £250
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking a passionate and creative Year 5 Teacher to join our forward-thinking primary school in Milton Keynes. As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in preparing pupils for the transition to upper Key Stage 2, helping them develop both academically and socially. You will inspire a love for learning and help pupils reach their full potential in a stimulating, engaging, and nurturing classroom.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to the progress of every child
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community
  • A creative and innovative approach to teaching

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with the school team to ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils
  • Participate in school life, including extracurricular activities and school events
