A primary school in central Northampton has an exciting opportunity for a Year 3 teacher to join their team.

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a dynamic teaching team. The ideal teacher will be enthusiastic about teaching and learning, with a strong commitment to fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment. This role involves planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils, encouraging their learning and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth.
  • Assess and monitor pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, contributing to the wider school community.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupils' progress and achievements.
  • Manage classroom behavior in accordance with the school's policies and ethos.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching at the primary level, preferably Year 3.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and current educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
