📍 Location: Luton
📅 Contract: Fixed-term, Tuesday 22nd April - Tuesday 22nd July
💰 Salary: MPS, up to M6 (Pro Rata) depending on experience
📚 School Type: Four-form entry primary



About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Year 2 teacher to join our supportive and collaborative team in a four-form entry primary school in Luton. This fixed-term role will focus on planning and preparation, working closely with the Year 2 staff team to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare engaging and effective lessons as part of the Year 2 team

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and high-quality learning experiences

  • Support the academic and personal development of Year 2 pupils

  • Work within the school's framework to enhance pupil progress



Requirements

🎓 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
📖 Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, particularly literacy and numeracy
🌟 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
📝 Passion for curriculum planning and ensuring high standards of education
📢 Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues and contribute to school life
🔎 Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and provide two years' worth of references
