The Role
As a Vocational Trainer/Tutor, you will:
- Deliver engaging and hands-on vocational training across a variety of subjects, tailored to the needs of KS3 and KS4 students.
- Support students in developing practical skills, employability knowledge, and confidence for their future pathways.
- Collaborate with staff to design and implement creative and impactful vocational programmes.
- Provide individualised support to help students achieve their goals and overcome barriers to learning.
This role requires a professional who is motivated, adaptable, and committed to empowering students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A qualification or strong experience in a vocational field (e.g., construction, IT, health and social care, or similar).
- A teaching or training background (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or Level 3 Award in Education and Training), or a willingness to work towards a relevant qualification.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for working with young people and helping them prepare for the future.
