Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Position: Upper KS2 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Start Date: ASAP or January 2025 for the right candidate
Contract: Maternity Cover, Full-Time
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

We are working on behalf of a friendly and inclusive two-form entry primary school based in Aylesbury, looking for an enthusiastic and committed Upper KS2 Class Teacher to join the team for maternity cover. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
  • Work closely with the other KS2 teachers to plan, assess, and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour and establish clear expectations for all pupils.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, ensuring that every child makes sustained progress.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community to support pupil development.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in KS2.
  • A commitment to promoting the highest standards of teaching and learning.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for creating an inspiring and supportive learning environment.
