Job Description:
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant with Level 2 Childcare certification, you will play a crucial role in our nursery by assisting lead teachers and contributing to the growth and development of children . Your expertise in childcare will help shape young minds and create a safe and nurturing environment for their learning journey.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with lead teachers to plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum.
- Supervise and actively engage with children during various daily routines, including playtime, meals, and rest.
- Support children's social and emotional development through positive interactions.
- Ensure the maintenance of a safe and hygienic learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on children's progress.
- Assist with record-keeping and daily classroom operations.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 Childcare certification is essential.
- Prior experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting is preferred.
- Enthusiasm for early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
