Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students in the classroom, assisting with their learning and development across a range of subjects.
  • Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver activities, ensuring that all students are engaged and supported.
  • Assist in managing classroom behavior, fostering a respectful and positive learning environment.
  • Offer targeted support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or those requiring additional help to achieve their full potential.
  • Encourage student participation and boost their confidence by providing individualized attention and guidance.

Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in supporting young people's learning and personal growth.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to create an inclusive classroom experience.
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate, are beneficial but not required. Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
