Teaching Assistant - Tower Hamlets, London

  • Location: Tower Hamlets, London
  • Salary: £85-£120 per day
  • Hours: Monday - Friday
  • Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our new team at our specialist school in Tower Hamlets, London. In this role, you will support our teachers by creatively engaging with students, helping them reach their full potential in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils.
  • Prepare classrooms and materials to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships to encourage interaction and learning.
  • Assist in planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in an SEN/ASC environment is desirable.
  • Strong support skills, resilience, and a genuine passion for education are essential.
  • Educated to GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English.
  • Calm, engaging, and a team player who enjoys collaborating to achieve success.
  • Driven by the goal of helping every pupil reach their potential.

We are a brand-new specialist independent school, providing education for pupils aged 5 to 18 with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis. Our school is located in the vibrant East End of London and has been thoughtfully refurbished to support our commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
