A primary school based in Northampton is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their team with the objective to start teacher training.
The school / academy trust has a strong ethos and culture of growing talent within. For the right person, the school is able to offer teacher training. You must have a degree to qualify for this role.
You will start as Learning Support Assistant to gain knowledge of the primary curriculum and the day to day life within a school. As well as general classroom assistance, you will support smaller groups of pupils to run intervention sessions to raise attainement, particularly in Numeracy and Literacy. Once confident to do so, you will be able to cover lessons with a qualified teacher's help and support.
