We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, specializing in Spanish, to join a vibrant, Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Aylesbury. This is a fixed-term role running from January 2025 until July 2025, covering the remainder of the academic year. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic team. Proficiency in French would be an added bonus but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Spanish across KS3 to KS5, delivering engaging and interactive lessons that foster a passion for language learning.
- Plan, assess, and differentiate lessons to ensure that students of all abilities are supported and challenged in their studies.
- Collaborate with the school's Modern Foreign Languages department to promote innovative teaching practices and cross-curricular engagement.
- Participate in a range of enrichment activities and language-related events to encourage students' academic and personal growth.
What We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and strong subject knowledge in Spanish.
- Ability to teach Spanish across multiple key stages, with proficiency in French as an added advantage.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged and supported in their learning.
