About Us:

The ECT & Trainee Team (formerly NQT Team) work exclusively with Early Career teachers who are interested in hearing about posts to complete their Induction period

Whether you have already finished your training; are completing your PGCE; are in your final year of your B.Ed; or are already training in a school, deciding where to take your first teaching post is a huge decision for every new teacher; but we think it should be an exciting one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and effective lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing ideas and contributing to the school's innovative curriculum.
  • Participate in professional development and mentoring sessions, actively engaging in feedback to grow as an educator.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2025.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students succeed.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make learning enjoyable and accessible.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive, resilient, and reflective approach to teaching and professional growth.
