We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of Girls' PE to join an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 mixed academy. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated sports professional to inspire and develop young athletes.
Job Details
- Position: Teacher of Girls' Physical Education
- Contract Type: Temporary (Spring Term), with potential for permanent role after the first term for the right candidate
- Hours: Full-time
- Start Date: January 2025
- Salary: MPS/UPS Dependent on Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality physical education to girls across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Coach and develop sports teams
- Deliver an engaging and challenging PE curriculum
- Support student athletic development and wellbeing
- Contribute to whole-school sports initiatives
Requirements
- Qualified PE Teacher with relevant sports qualifications
- Excellent coaching and teaching skills
- Proven experience in girls' PE
- Strong communication and motivational abilities
- Passion for student athletic and personal development
