Requirements:
- The teacher appointed will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status with a good science or science related First Degree.
- Be dedicated to achieving high standards of academic work and discipline in the classroom.
- Foster excellent and appropriate mathematical practice, striving for absolute rigour in terms of mathematical expectations and performance.
- Teach science in a way which promotes enrichment and extends the students' quest for understanding beyond just the perfunctory remit of examination specifications.
- Develop excellent relationships with students and staff.
- Have excellent use of ICT in teaching and learning.
- Have excellent organisational skills.
- Be a good team player.
- Be committed to the educational and pastoral development of all students.
