Key Responsibilities
As a Teacher of Computing, you will:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons up to GCSE level
- Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with national standards
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations in Computer Science
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall quality of teaching and learning
- Inspire students to pursue further education and careers in technology-related fields
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Computer Science teacher who possesses:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of the GCSE Computer Science curriculum
- Able to teach Computing at secondary level - applications from ECTs or more experienced colleagues both warmly welcomed
- Strong programming skills and the ability to teach various programming languages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for technology and its applications in education
