  • Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

As a Teacher of Computing, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons up to GCSE level
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with national standards
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations in Computer Science
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall quality of teaching and learning
  • Inspire students to pursue further education and careers in technology-related fields

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Computer Science teacher who possesses:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Knowledge of the GCSE Computer Science curriculum
  • Able to teach Computing at secondary level - applications from ECTs or more experienced colleagues both warmly welcomed
  • Strong programming skills and the ability to teach various programming languages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for technology and its applications in education
