Position: Teacher of Biology

Dunbar Education is delighted to be recruiting for a Teacher of Biology on behalf of a prestigious independent school in South Buckinghamshire. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Biology across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire a love for Biology.
  • Assess, track, and provide feedback on student progress.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Biology curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental and whole school CPD.
  • Engage with parents, carers, and the wider community to support student learning.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, or equivalent.
  • Degree in Biology or a related subject.
  • Proven experience teaching Biology at KS3 to KS5.
  • Passionate about teaching and inspiring young people.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
