Supply Teacher

Job Description

Are you looking for day-to-day supply as a Teacher? We work with a numerous amount of Fantastic Primary Schools across Hertfordshire offering day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply for people that have sporadic availability.

How this works:

If you are available different days every week or set days, we will make all of our partnered schools aware so when the opportunity arises, you can work as a Supply Teacher on those days. The benefits to this role is the flexibility of working days you choose; there is no planning required for the lessons the candidate teaches and the duties are lower.

Duties:

  • Teach the pre-planned lessons to a high standard and in line with the Primary & Schools curriculum.
  • Mark any classwork and retrieve homework if required.
  • Feedback on the children's classwork to the Headteacher or point of contact at the school.

Requirements to apply:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Minimum of 6 months Teaching the UK (supply or contracted)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour and think on your feet
  • Flexbility to work short and long term
