About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support), you will provide 1:1 or small group support, ensuring that students with autism feel understood, included, and empowered to succeed. You will play a crucial role in helping students overcome challenges while promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with autism through personalised learning strategies.
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
  • Encourage positive social interaction and emotional well-being.
  • Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress.
