SEN Teacher (Mainstream QTS Teachers Welcome)
Daily Rate: £150 - £280 (including SEN allowance)

We have a range of subject-specific and general SEN teaching positions available in schools across the area, offering competitive daily rates, with an additional top-up to reflect the SEN allowance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Delivery: Teach engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of SEN students, adapting your subject expertise for a special needs setting.
- Support Learning Needs: Provide tailored support to students with a variety of SEN, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Behaviour Management: Implement positive behaviour management strategies to create a structured and nurturing learning environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and families to ensure the holistic development of each student.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and assess student progress, using tailored approaches to ensure individual growth and success.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in mainstream settings.
- A strong desire to transition into an SEN teaching role, with a passion for supporting students with additional needs.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- An empathetic, adaptable, and patient approach to working with children with
