Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalized education to pupils with a variety of special educational needs, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of each pupil.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes pupil engagement and learning.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to support pupil development and well-being.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEN best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the school's SEN provision.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching pupils with special educational needs.
  • Excellent understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for supporting the learning and development of pupils with SEN.
