Dunbar Education is excited to recruit a robust Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a specialist SEN provision in Walsall, working with students aged 12-18.

About the Role:
We are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to students with a range of complex needs, including autism, ADHD, social-emotional challenges, and learning difficulties. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students aged 12-18 in both classroom and one-to-one settings.
  • Assist with the delivery of individualized learning plans and behavior management strategies.

  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic support.
  • Encourage independence and personal development among students.

  • Experience working with young people with SEN (desirable but not essential - a willingness to learn is key).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive, flexible approach to supporting students' unique needs.
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of young people with special educational needs.
  • A child and adult DBS is essential for this role.
