The Role
An excellent opportunity has opened up for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive school in Havering. We are seeking a committed educator who can deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates. This role offers the chance to inspire the next generation of scientists and make a real impact on students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver effective science lessons in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics to a wide range of abilities.
Encourage a passion for science through innovative teaching methods and hands-on experiments.
Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
Work collaboratively with the science department to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
Participate in the school's extra-curricular programs and professional development opportunities.

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in science, with experience teaching at secondary level.
Ability to differentiate lessons and support diverse learners.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a passion for education.
A commitment to promoting the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
