Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Reading Specialist to support students struggling with literacy. The successful candidate will provide targeted reading interventions and work closely with teachers to enhance literacy instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Assess students' reading levels and needs
- Develop and implement reading intervention programs
- Support classroom teachers with literacy instruction strategies
- Track and report student progress
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of literacy development and reading intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents.
- Proficiency in using assessment tools to diagnose reading difficulties and monitor progress.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
