Salary: Teaching Staff Pay Scales points 1 - 9 (National) £36,745 - £56,959 FTE, plus SEN2 allowance of £3,774 per annum

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for a passionate and committed Qualified Teacher of the Deaf to join our team and contribute to our mission of inclusive education. Located in Tower Hamlets, our school is a hub of diversity and learning.

Job Role

We are seeking a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf to work with our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students. The successful applicant will:

  • Be a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf
  • Have a minimum Level 1 BSL
  • Understand the impact of hearing impairment on learning and know how to plan and differentiate accordingly
  • Demonstrate a commitment to collaborative working
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Promote effective, inclusive education for deaf pupils
