Primary Teacher - SEMH & Behavioural Specialist School

Are you an experienced and passionate teacher looking for a rewarding role in a school that makes a real difference? Dunbar Education is recruiting on behalf of a specialist school for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs who have been excluded from mainstream education and are working towards reintegration.

This is a unique and challenging opportunity to work with pupils who need dedicated support, patience, and a tailored approach to their learning. The school provides a nurturing environment where students are given the tools to thrive, and the staff are fully supported in their roles.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Experience working in an SEMH/behavioural setting
  • Additional qualifications such as the Enhanced Pathways Programme (EPs) would be ideal but not essential
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a passion for making a positive impact on young lives
  • A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach to teaching
