The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join our enthusiastic team. This role is ideal for an educator who is eager to inspire young minds, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to a collaborative teaching environment. You will have the opportunity to shape the educational journey of our Year 4 & 5 learners, fostering both their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are engaged and challenged.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to support individual learning needs.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a positive classroom culture, managing behaviour effectively to promote a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Parental Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupil progress and participating in parent-teacher meetings.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, contributing to and learning from best practices within our teaching community.

About You:

  • Qualifications: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record in teaching KS2 learners

  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
