Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PMLD SEN Teacher to deliver high-quality education tailored to the unique needs of our students. In this role, you will design and implement individualized learning plans, foster a positive learning environment, and collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to the holistic development of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the needs of students with PMLD.
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and adaptive resources to support student learning and development.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and adapting strategies as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
Qualifications and Experience: While Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is not required, we welcome applications from candidates with relevant qualifications and experience, such as:
- PGCE in SEN Education
- Diploma in Special Education Needs (SEN)
- Ed in Special Education
- Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Ed in Special Education or Inclusion
- Relevant experience in a SEN or PMLD setting
