PE Teacher - SEMH School

Job Description

As a KS4 BTEC Sport Teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to deliver engaging, practical, and theoretical lessons to students with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges. You will be working closely with a committed team to inspire and guide students through their BTEC Sport qualification, helping them to build skills and confidence for future success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality BTEC Sport lessons to KS4 students.
  • Adapt teaching methods to support students with SEMH and behavioural needs.
  • Foster a supportive, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and additional support where necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students who have SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
  • A passion for sport and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual student needs.
  • A team player who is committed to making a positive impact.
